t QUILT
Each family is making a “Keepsake First Communion Quilt”. Instructions have or will be been sent home with RF/CCD families while school children are making quilts squares in class. QUILT WORKSHOP WILL BE SATURDAY March 10, 2012 8:00 am to Noon
This workshop is to help families put together quilts if needed. Just do not wait until 11:00 am to show up. It is your choice whether or not you wish to make a quilt. If you have a sewing machine or can borrow one, it will help. We will have a few sewing machines and people to help sew or show you how to sew if you wish. Due to the safety of everyone ADULTS only are allowed at the workshop. The quilts can be completed in this time frame on one day. If you have any questions, call the Parish Office, 292-7418.
t PHOTOGRAPHS
In keeping with the religious nature of this important event, we are asking that NO photographs, video, or electronic devices be used during the celebration of this special ceremony. YOU MAY TAKE PICTURES AS THE CHILDREN PROCESS IN. YOU MAY NOT TAKE PICTURES ONCE MASS STARTS.
Professional photos will be taken after the rehearsal; first will be a group photo, followed by individual photos for those who wish. Therefore, all first communicants should come to the rehearsal dressed in the communion attire. This greatly simplifies the otherwise chaotic post-mass situation!
